International Summer School 2024
5Our Digital Competence Area Manager, Dr Eid, and our Biology Competence Area Manager, Dr Imbart, proudly represented EBI as guest lecturers at the International Summer School 2024 at the University of Coruña (UdC) in Spain, bringing together students from all over the world.
International meetings and expertise sharing
During this Summer School, Dr. Imbart had the opportunity to give a week-long course on general immunology to students from Spain and Kazakhstan. This enriching experience enabled him to meet teachers from all over the world, including Brazil, Albania, Ireland, Moldavia and Tunisia. Exchanges covered a wide range of topics, from climate legislation to English writing and business. The students also organized activities to introduce visitors to the city of La Coruna and its rich historical heritage. For his part, Dr Eid shared his expertise in structural bioinformatics with students from all over the world, fostering a genuine intercultural and scientific dialogue.
