Since its creation, the EBI has been developing its network of relationships with the bio-industry. These historic cooperations are a guarantee of training that is as close as possible to the professional skills expected in a professional environment.
The plan to establish the EBI as a biology school was developed in consultation with the bioindustry. Since then, professionals have participated in the governance of the school. The industrialists on the Board of Directors and the Scientific Advisory Board of the EBI advise the management team in its strategic management and research. Thus, companies are strongly involved in the life of the EBI.
The biology curriculum is reviewed annually to incorporate the emerging needs of the bio-industries. Nearly 150 employees of partner companies and alumni take part in the courses, offer case studies, projects, afterworks and co-working sessions.
Learn moreThroughout their studies, Bachelors and Engineers in Biology students complete 8 and 13 months (on average) of internships respectively, supervised and evaluated by professionals, who participate in the juries for their defense. The EBI's tutor referents go on site for the internship visits.
Learn moreEvery effort is made to encourage meetings with professionals: job fairs, company forums, science days. These privileged moments provide pragmatic insights into professions, sectors and career paths, and allow students to project themselves.
